The Bend continues to live up to its reputation as the fastest track in Australia with the quickest Top Fuel time in Australian history at 3.683sec and the fastest Top Fuel pass in Australian history at 331.96mph (534.23kph) set by Damien Harris from Rapisarda Autosport International.

Rapisarda Autosport International’s Australian ET record is only .06 seconds off Brittany Force’s world ET record and is also the quickest time ever clocked outside of the USA.  This new national Top Fuel ET record moves The Bend within striking distance of a world record time, something that has always been considered impossible in Australia.

Dragway at the Bend is where Australia’s racers come to break records.

In that, the October 3-5 Spring Nationals will be a stand-alone 3-day record-setting festival of what the Bend does best – host ground-shaking, record-breaking drag racing in front of huge crowds. The record-setting festival will be headlined by Top Fuel racers coming to the Bend with the sole intent of breaking records, along with the Pro Drag Racing Championship (PDRC) Grand Finals.

Today, Alistair MacDonald (CEO of The Bend) announced the concept of the 3-day record-breaking event for October off the back of last nights record-setting Top Fuel session:

“The Bend is considered one of the world’s greatest motorsport venues and breaking records at our Dragway just reinforces the quality of this venue and the team.  We love hosting NDRC and the various drag racing categories and we are thrilled that we can provide them with such a great platform to perform.  In October 2025, we aim to create more memories and put more smiles on people’s faces by watching these marvels of machines break records.”

The record-setting Spring Nationals will also feature the PDRC Grand Final and a round of the ANDRA Sportsman Series. The PDRC Grand Final will feature Pro Mod, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Bike, and Pro Import.

Andy Lopez, Managing Director of NDRC, is excited to work with The Bend on the record-setting 2025 Spring Nationals, with plans already in motion to make the 2026 Spring Nationals one of Australia’s biggest motorsport events.
